Employee Recruitment Program

We need your help to recruit and strengthen the agency workforce. We are encouraging you to refer people with the required qualifications and background in social services for an interview with Human Resources.

You can fill out the form below to send their contact information directly to the Human Resources Department. Please ensure that anyone being referred has given permission to share their information with Community Living Essex County.

To qualify, the candidate must have education/experience in one of the social services field, including students, in the following programs:

  • Developmental Service Worker
  • Autism and Behavioural Studies
  • Child and Youth Care
  • Community and Justice Services
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Educational Support
  • Nursing- BScN
  • Paramedic
  • Personal Support Worker
  • Police Foundations
  • Practical Nursing
  • Social Service Worker-Gerontology

All people being referred must:

  • Have a valid Ontario Drivers License and access to a vehicle
  • Be able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance

The form will be sent directly to the HR Department. HR will contact the person for an interview (provided they meet the above requirements). If this leads to a successful hire, the current agency employee who referred this person will receive a $150 gift card. 

There are no limits on the number of people that can be referred, current employees are encouraged to refer as many qualified candidates as they would like. There is no deadline for entries.
